Shafer, Jr. of Meadville and Marcia Donnelly Shafer Zosack of Boston, MA; his wife Anita Haemer; his brother Matthew Shafer of Albuquerque, NM; his aunt Diane Domnick (James) of Meadville; his nephew Jacob Shafer; his cousin Shona Strachan; his stepchildren, Gregory J., Paul C. and April L. Norrix; and his stepgrandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth, Blake and Gage.
