He is survived by: his children, Edward Powell of Pittsburgh, Peter Powell III of Meadville, Marsha Phillips of Meadville and Tim Powell (Pamela) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Nyree, Karrail, David, Danielle, Andrea and Timothy "Justin"; his sisters, Eva Mae Jones of Meadville and Annette Walls of Houston, PA; and his close friend Daisy Trantham. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; a great great grandchild.
