She was predeceased by: her parents, Patterson Hofius and Florence Schwab Johnston; her husband Lester J. Palmer; and her brother Theodore Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Jay Palmer (Karen) of Guys Mills and Jill Palmer of Meadville; her grandchildren, Travis Palmer, Heather Pickens (Jeff), Holly Ross (Tim), Joey Marie Porcelli (John) and Jamie Gaglione (Charles Jr.); and her sister-in-law Margie Johnston of Meadville. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
