It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melville Burnett formerly of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Zebulon, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, K. C. Burnett and Ida Ruth Burnett; and his sister Min. He is survived by: his spouse Verlyn Stinson (Patricia); his children, Mia Colemon (William) of Atlanta, GA, Melvin Banks (Chandra) of Park Forest, IL, Tresonica Russell of Nashville, TN, Louise Burley (Hasan) of Youngstown, OH, Piper Burnett of Jeffersonville, IN and Danisha Bonner (Justin) of Clifton Park, NY; and his siblings, Betty Jenkins, Rev. Melissa Burnett, Melinda Brown, Millicent Burnett, Eddie Joe Burnett (Debbie), Rev. Marvin Burnett (Deborah), Marshall Burnett, Winfred Morris Burnett and Robert Louis Burnett. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
