It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret L. Castile of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Cochranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hickman and Henrietta Gilbert Hickman (Lovelady); her stepfather Charlie Hickman; her children, Sarah Homer, Jeff Homer and Paul Homer; and her siblings, Paul Gilbert, Leonard Gilbert, Walter Gilbert and Anna Mae Gorby.
She is survived by: her son John Homer (Nancy) of Conneautville; her stepchildren, Judy Forsythe (Mike) of McKeesport, PA and Denny Castile; and her close friend Wendi Harvey of Cochranton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
