She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Knierman and Louise Bodish Knierman; her husband Andrew P. Mattis; and her sisters, Shirley Vogan, Gertrude Baughman, Betty Agnew and Dorothy Poux.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Young of Meadville, Paul Mattis (Elaine) of Poinciana, FL, Thomas Mattis (Marylou) of Franklin Pike and Jeffery Mattis (Allison) of Frenchtown; her grandchildren, Kimberly Wilcox (Darrel), Adam Mattis (Jenelle), Ann Mattis, Steven Mattis (Kathryn), Molly Smith (Brandon) and Jennifer Cain (Christopher); her stepgrandchildren, Lydia Sleeman and Luke Sleeman; her great grandchildren, Derik Wilcox (Erin), Dallas Wilcox Acker (Lucas), Sara Bilal, Violet Mattis, Emma Mattis and Savannah Smith; her stepgreat-granddaughter Stephanie Biondo; her great great grandchildren, Cameron Wilcox, Adelynn Wilcox, Devyn Biondo and Dylan Biondo; her sisters, Pauline Baker of Saegertown, Marjorie Kline (Edward) of Linesville and Gladys Mickle of Linesville; and her brother-in-law Hubert Vogan of Cochranton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
