The memory of June A. Nichols of Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond L. Butcher, Sr. and Thelma May Palmiero (Gushard); her husband Howard Ellery Nichols; her brothers, Raymond L. Butcher, Jr. and Clifton Butcher; her sons-in-law, Samuel Browder and Dick Atkins; and her great grandchild Kelsey Atkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Browder of Meadville, Lynda Nichols of Meadville, Terri Nichols of Raleigh, NC and Debby Atkins of Meadville; her sister-in-law Iva Lee Nichols; her grandchildren, Karyn Siegel (Brad), Greg Atkins, Richard Atkins (Melissa), Kimberly Kokoszka (Gunar) and Nichole Arroyo (Ed); her aunt Joyce Butcher Garris of Pittsburgh; and her aide Lewrose Myers. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose and Waid Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Meadville (581 Chestnut St, Meadville, PA 16335). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose and Waid Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (581 Chestnut St, Meadville, PA 16335).
