It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Plyler of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Canfield, Ohio, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Berkey and Mae Krause Berkey; and her brother David Berkey. She is survived by: her husband D. Blair Plyler; her children, Susan Scott (Jeff) of Polk, Daniel Plyler (Deborah) of Guys Mills, Timothy Plyler (Wendy) of Meadville, Debra Hough (Ted) of Cambridge Springs, Michael Plyler (Mary) of Erie and Donald Plyler (Jeannine) of Nescopeck; and her siblings, Vivian Prine of Sparta, TN, Esther Boyer (Tom) of Sacramento, CA, Irene Hixon of Sparta, TN, Carol Clemance (Charles) of Nanaimo, British Columbia and James Berkey (Bonnie) of Niles, OH. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
