He was predeceased by: his father Rocco Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smith; his daughters, Carolyn Allebrodt (Nicolas) of Germany and Elizabeth Jolyn Phillips of Pittsburgh, PA; his brother David Phillips (Michelle); and his friend William Rodgers.
