He is survived by: his wife Alice Howell; his children, Ivy Wheeler, Karissa Barnhart (Hope Riddle), Jason Barnhart, Dallas Barnhart, Ethan Barnhart, Benjamin Barnhart and Joy Barnhart; and his sisters, Jennifer Hazlet James (Joe) and Julie Busher (Ray).
