It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John S. Salak of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Cowansville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Salak and Catherine Turek Salak; his wife Rose Stanley; and his siblings, William, Andrew, Frank, Joseph, George Salak, Rosemarie Swartzwelder, Jesse Paris, Martha Allard and Stella Edmonds.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Wiggins (Leonard) of Belpre, OH and Mark Salak (Kristen Miller) of Hyde Park, NY; his grandchildren, Heather, Selena, Corey Wiggins, Andrea Salak-Gerardi and Ivan Miller; and also Karen Rodgers of Linesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
