Joanna Samson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Samson (Meadville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanna Samson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Moorhead and Mildred Moorhead (Ekstrom); her husband Frank Samson; and her siblings, Kathleen Moorhead Bigley (Roger) and Douglas Moorhead (Susan).

She is survived by: her former spouse Francis Paul Samson (Frank); her daughters, Carrie Samson Short (David) and Kimberly Samson; her brothers, James Moorhead (Peggy), David Moorhead (Nancy) and Frank Moorhead (June); her grandchildren, Kyle Hoogewind (Lauren), Leah Leslie (Ryan), Paul Hoogewind and Jack Samson-Martin; her stepgrandchildren, Lauren Lambright (Robert) and Ian Short; and her great grandchildren, Pacha Lilianna Grace and Reed Francis. She is also survived by six children.
