She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Arthur Battles and Virginia Battles (Whitling); her former husband James Ralph Peters; her husband David G. Watson; her siblings, Charles Battles and Winifred Harroun; and her stepfather Heyden.
She is survived by: her sons, James Douglas "Doug" Peters (Jackie) of Conneaut Lake and Jeffrey M. Peters (Janet) of Meadville; her grandchildren, Christopher Peters (Adina Segal), Slade Peters (Candee), Diana Wilkosz Jessica Peters (Andrew) and Cole Peters (Michelle); and her half-sister Charlotte Shorts (Frank) of Meadville. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
