It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Eugene Schoonover of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin G. Schoonover and Mildred Schoonover (Simpson); his siblings, Edwin Schoonover (Shirley), William Schoonover, Jeannine DeLuca (John), Shirley Hewston (Paul), Margaret "Peg" Reagle (Don) and Dorothy Aaron (Dick); and his parents-in-law, Sam and Emma Barco.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda G. Barco; his son Todd P. Schoonover of Meadville; and his siblings-in-law, Kit Barco (Gloria) of Harmonsburg and Sue Schoonover of Meadville. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, good friends, and neighbors.
