It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Walsh of Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Janet Walsh to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bailey and Cecelia Bailey; her husband William J. Walsh; and her son Michael Walsh. She is survived by: her children, Sharon (Tim Asbury), Bill Walsh, Deb (Bill McCafferty), Chris (Dave Mauser) and Jon (Alisa Walsh); her sister Marce Strickland (Bob Kryter); and her grandchildren, Connor Asbury, Josh, Luke, Bella Walsh, Emily, Olivia, Addie McCafferty, Samantha, Mariah, Natasha Mauser, Kalib and Lizzie Walsh.

Due to COVID concerns, there will be a family-only service on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 11am at St. Agatha Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Janet's name to St. Agatha Catholic Church, 353 Pine Street or the Center for Family Services, 213 Center Street, both in Meadville, PA 16335.

“Sharon, Bill, and Chris, I am sincerely sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Two years ago when I was on an extended visit to Meadville I had the pleasure of a wonderful conversation in church. I loved your Mom and Dad. I have so many good memories of the two of them and you three as children. I apologize I did not know the other children...my sympathy goes to you all. The loss of a mother is hard. Please know my thoughts are with you..”
