He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samples and Erdine Samples (Ard); his sister Jeanie Samples Burnett; and his nephew Michael Samples. He is survived by: his children, Sheery Brookshire (Brian) of Goose Creek, SC, Ben Samples of Meadville and Anita Samples of Meadville; his grandchildren, Ashlyn and Jacob Brookshire; his siblings, Barbara Diehl (Alan) of Girard and John Samples (Debbie) of Fairview; and his former wife Sue Stein of Meadville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar French Creek Community Church (18320 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the French Creek Community Church (18320 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335).
