He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jenkins, and RosiLee Jenkins, Sr. (Newsome); his sisters, Evelyn Taylor and JoAnn Jenkins; and his nephew John Wallace (Stacey Clarett).
He is survived by: his children, James Silvis of Meadville, Jada Silvis of Meadville, Leah Silvis of Meadville and Jasmine Buttray of Meadville; and his sisters, Faye Wallace (John) of Youngstown, OH and Janice Jenkins of Meadville. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
