We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2021, at the age of 94, James J. Courtney of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Courtney and Helen Courtney (Eddy); his mother-in-law Norine W. Wasmer; his wife Norine; his son Brian C. Courtney; and his sisters, Jean Wermuth and Patricia Cobbs.
He is survived by: his son Gary J. Courtney (Anna) of Hyde Park, NY; his grandchildren, Kristin Courtney, Rachel Cardillo (Jake), Sarah Egerton (Andrew), Matthew Courtney (Libby) and Renee Courtney; and his great grandchild Brayden James Cardillo.
Due to Covid, a Memorial Service will be held at a future date, which will be announced.
