She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jastromb and Katherine Jastromb (Gruber); her daughter Melanie Brunot; her grandson Matthew Brunot; her siblings, Sophie Gibbons, Viola Snow, Stella Szelinski, Anna Jastromb and Chester Jastromb; and her siblings-in-law, Belva Jastrom, Thelma Jastromb, Clarence Gibbons, George Snow and Frank Szelinski.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Sexton (Debbie) of Leatsdale, Timothy Sexton, Sr. of Meadville, Daniel Sexton (Alison) of Meadville and Thomas Szelenski (Barb) of Mill Village; her son-in-law Ken Brunot of Meadville; and her brother Theodore "Ted" Jastromb Sr. of Meadville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Irene's memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
