We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2020, at the age of 96, Helen A. Fischer of Meadville, Pennsylvania, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen A. Fischer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Filipowski and Mary Filipowski (Pachlita); her husband Robert "Bob" A. Fischer; and her siblings, Kathryn Say, Anna Jane Wermlinger, Adeline Sullenger and Frank Filipowski.
She is survived by: her children, Robert L. Fischer (Vickie) and Renie Fischer of Meadville; her grandsons, Samuel Fischer (Kendra), Erik Deschamps and Daniel Fischer; her great grandchildren, Henry and Evee; and her brother Edward Filipowski (Lois) of Dempseytown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas, Pastor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St. or Wesbury Foundation, 31 N. Park Ave., both in Meadville, PA 16335, or a charity of choice.
