He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Linn and Marjorie Belle Rickard Bidwell; his spouse Jan Ellis; and his sister Doris Bestwick. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Marie Rankin of Pittsburgh, Melonie Courson (David) of Meadville, Kristine Armold of Pittsburgh and Gary Bidwell, Jr. (Toby) of Meadville; his stepson Duane Marvin (Julie) of Meadville; his sister Beverly Kennedy of Florida; and his pets, Libby and Lexie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
