He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Joseph and Eve Eleanor Deitman (Jones); his grandmother Christina Anderson; his adoptive mother Mary Deitman; and his brothers, Earl and David Deitman.
He is survived by: his children, Melody Schoonover of Titusville, Joseph Deitman of Cambridge Springs and Darren Deitman (Cayenne Eastlick) of Meadville; his grandchildren, Christine Deitman (Cassandra Dunstan) of Australia, Tressa Schoonover and Dylan Schoonover of Meadville; his siblings, Sonney Jr. Deitman of Michigan, Glory Merritt of Wyoming and Tina Greenawalt of Gettysburg; and also Josh Breccy of Titusville.
