She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Peterman and Estelle Briggs Peterman; her grandson Josiah Fulton; her great grandchildren, Gianna and Arianna Johnson; and her siblings, Russell, Charles Peterman, Estaleta Blackhurst, Peg Taylor and Virginia Henry.
She is survived by: her husband Carl M. Smith; her children, Carleen Fowler (David) of Guys Mills, Bradford Smith (Patricia), Loretta Hamilton (Jeffrey) of Meadville and Maxine Aylsworth (Robert) of Meadville; and her siblings, Gertrude Panko (Richard) of Conneautville, Pat Bailey of Lexington, KY, Judy Popham of Canyon, TX and Thomas Peterman of Meadville. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and innumerable nieces and nephews.
