She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard P. Thompson and Faye Novotny (Tichenor); her husband Joseph "Terry" Hanes; and her son C. Tracy Hanes. She is survived by: her children, Debra L. Grahm (Roger) of Chillicothe, OH and Michael Hanes (Joan) of Edmond, OK; her cousin Janet Weir; and her aunt Norma Thompson (Martha Blair). She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; extended family.
