David L. Durfee Obituary
In loving memory of David L. Durfee (Meadville, Pennsylvania), who departed this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 89. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Charles Durfee, Sr. and Katherine Marie Bowes; his former wife Ellen Jennes Durfee; his brothers, Otis Durfee, Jr., John Durfee and Tom Durfee; and his grandson David Durfee, III.
He is survived by: his wife Anja; his children, David Durfee, Jr. (Norma) of Meadville, Dennis Durfee (Eusabia) of Hobbs, NM and Dawn Jones of Meadville; his stepdaughter Dianne Orr of Fairport Harbor, OH.; his granddaughter DeAnna Runyan (Jason); his great grandchildren, Maddison, Grace and Savanah; his children, Arabella, Liam, Emelia, Ryan, Jose Armando, Caleb, Ethan and Lilly; his siblings, Mary Lou Gurnee (James) and Mark Durfee (Rose Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Durfee, Carol Durfee and Margret Durfee Adams. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose and Waid Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Meadville (581 Chestnut St, Meadville, PA 16335). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rose and Waid Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (581 Chestnut St, Meadville, PA 16335).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in David's name to Gideon's International.
