He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rusilko and Sophie Rusilko (Hazuga); his son Stephan James; and his brother John "Sonny" Rusilko. He is survived by: his wife Susan Marie Baker; his children, Dr. Paul John Rusilko (Kathryn Lupo) of Pittsburgh, Dr. Matthew Ivan Rusilko (Cecilia Leguizamon) of Miami Beach, FL and Cathryn Sweeney (Stephen) of Edinboro; his adoptive son Dr. Patrick Herness of Ormond Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Domenica Marie Rusilko, Francesca Ann Rusilko, Michael David Sweeney, Leo Christian Sweeney and David Pasquale Sweeney; his sister Donna Jean Santi (Rembrant) of Ellsworth; his sister-in-law Elaine Rusilko of Canadohta Lake; and his sister Cathryn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
