He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bass and Ethel Bass; and his brother Joseph "Jodie" Bass Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Bass and Timothy Bass (Janet Bass); his sister-in-law Wilna Bass; his spouse Aleda Ann Bass (Jenkins); his children, Tia Lynn Bass and David Eddie Bass (Brooke Marie Bass); and his grandchildren, Justin Michael Bass, Lauren Elizabeth Bass and Joshua David-Joseph Bass. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
