He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Marvin and Barbara Kay Myers Cowden; and his sister Mary Beth Cowden. He is survived by: his son Robert Cowden (Judith) of Conneaut Lake; and his sister Theresa Dempsey (Vance) of Portsmouth, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
