He is survived by: his wife Julia Marie Mance; his sister Arlene Sylvester of Aliquippa, PA; his sons, Steven Spence (Anzhela) of Brighton Township, PA, Michael Spence (Stacy) of Penn Hills, PA and Daniel Spence of Monaca, PA; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Spence, Madalynn Spence, Conner Spence and Alice Spence; his stepsons, Jacob Maloney (Samantha) and Jonathan Maloney (Madisyn); and his stepgrandchildren, Elianna Maloney, Adeline Maloney and James Patrick Maloney.
