It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Witscher Barnard (Meadville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Smith and Arlene Roae Smith; her former husband Andy Witscher; her sister Mary Lou Smith Barickman; and her nephew Jeff Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Witscher (Katie) of Montoursville, Keith Witscher (Lori) of Saegertown and Holly Markel of Montoursville; her stepdaughters, Jan Ingram (Deke) of Clearwater, FL and Josie Hurdis (Jason) of Washington, IL; her siblings, Georgia Chalmers (Tom) of Meadville, Jane Bubna (Denis) of Saegertown, Joy Jordon (Mike) of Meadville, Ron Smith (Jan) of Guys Mills and Fred Smith of Saegertown; her grandchildren, Stewart Heggie, Grace Hill, Michael Zika, Austin Markel, Breanna Markel, Colton Markel, Ashley Witscher, Andrew Witscher, Jessica Dickens, Jana Hurdis and Jennifer Hurdis Armstrong; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Witscher and Wyatt Zika. She is also survived by many many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
