She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel G. Burd and Anna MacBroom Burd; her husband Fred L. Ewing; her son James N. Ewing; her half-sisters, Florence Burd, Thelma Burd and Pauline Fonner; and her siblings-in-law, Ethel, Ruth Ewing, Donald H. Ewing (Virginia), Raymond J. Ewing and Orlo A. Ewing (Ruth).
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Deiss (Richard) of Meadville and Barbara J. Ewing of Meadville; her daughter-in-law Dolores V. Ewing; her grandchildren, James Andrew Ewing (Trina) and Nancy Ewing (Dave Reger); her great grandchildren, Cora, Maireád, Josiah, Maeve Ewing and Chloë Reger; and her nieces and nephews, Fonda McElhinny, Dr. Jane E. Woods, Bruce B. Ewing, Tom B. Ewing (Joan) and Lee B. Ewing (Patty Chu).
