He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lutz and Olive Lutz. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Ursula Honnelore Belitz; his sons, Andrew L. Lutz, Jr. of Montclair and John S. Lutz of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Sophia E. and Jack A. Lutz; his brother Hans; his sister-in-law Reni; and his nephew Andrew Hannebohm. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to any Veterans Association.
