He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen O. Brumbaugh and Mary Brumbaugh (Fields); his wife Shirley A. Brumbaugh (Burke); and his brothers, William and Martin Brumbaugh.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce F. "Jake" Brumbaugh Jr. (Pamela) of McVeytown, Kathy Jo Stimely (David) of McVeytown and Mary Ann Swartz (Barry) of Lewistown; his sister Lois Dunmire of McVeytown; and his grandchildren, Seth Brumbaugh (Amy), Kelly Brumbaugh (Jason Peifer), Dee Rohrer (Tony), Jennifer Sickle (Dan), Barry Swartz Jr., Tina Miller (Jeff), Shanna Cowan (Harry Hasting) and Casey Cowan (Jolene). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
