He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry and Blanche Cecilia Sprankle Sanders; his wife Dorothy LaRue Shelton Sanders; and his siblings, John, Raymond, George, Marshall, Thomas Sanders, Rita Wiley, Anna Waysack and Mary Bowne.
He is survived by: his son Lawrence Trimmer of Croyden. He is also survived by two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
