She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Nieves and Ramona Nieves (Espinel); her spouse Jaime Rivera Santiago; and her siblings, Luis Nieves, Rosalind Santiago and Antonia Lance.

She is survived by: her boyfriend Bryan Holland of McSherrystown; her children, Lise Shaffer (Dwayne) of McSherrystown, PA, Carmen Santiago (Eric Towns) of Hanover, PA and Monica Santiago (Nicholas Pitzer) of Aspers, PA; her grandchildren, Malakai Curtis, Kierra Curtis, Alexander Shaffer, Xavier Shaffer, Ethan Laughman, Lauren Pitzer, Millianna Pitzer and Jamie Santiago III; and her siblings, William Nieves of Hunterstown, PA and Ramonita Rivera of Gettysburg, PA..

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
