With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Manuela P. Smith of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J. Smith; her son R. Joseph Smith, Jr.; her brother James Lewis; and her parents, James Lewis and Manuela Carver.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia McLaughlin (Larry), Gary Smith (Barb), Karen Bolte (Keith), Robert Smith (Kim), Donald Smith (Mary) and John Smith; and her sister Withee Ann Brabston. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
