With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John T. Shaffer of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania, born in Renovo, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Quentin Shaffer and Cecelia Shaffer (Kennedy); his wife Dolores M. Shaffer (Shanebrook); his children, Nicholas Shaffer (Jessica) of New Oxford and Amanda Shaffer of McSherrystown; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Lillian and Harper; his siblings, Philip Shaffer (Marg) of Elizabethville, Joyce Leonard (Dick) of McSherrystown and Mary Kaye Boyd; and his in-laws, Francis and Patricia Shanebrook. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
