He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara A. Messinger (Harman); his parents, Claude Messinger and Catherine Messinger (Wolfe); his son James Ray Messinger; and his brother Frank Crone.
He is survived by : his children, Todd Messinger (Kelly) and Kerry Neiderer (Dave); his grandchildren, Cody Neiderer (Michaela), Christopher Messinger, Colin Messinger (Gabby Malkus) and Chase Neiderer; his great grandchild Norman Patton; his partner Jan Bankert; and his sister Roxie Sprenkle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
