He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys M. Greenholt (Lawrence); his parents, Harold J. Greenholt and Mary A. Greenholt (Nicholson); and his daughters, Mary Rose Greenholt and Ann Marie Greenholt.
He is survived by: his children, John Greenholt Jr. (Jill) of New Oxford, David Greenholt (Deb) of New Oxford, Lynne Garrett (Steven) of New Oxford, Kim Smith (Robert) of New Oxford, Michael Greenholt (Gail) of Hanover, Russell Greenholt (Kathleen) of Hanover, Douglas Greenholt (Diane) of Hanover and Stephen Greenholt of York; his siblings, Dan Greenholt (Shirley), Tom Greenholt, Kevin Greenholt (Carol), Teresa Smith (Mike), Jane Miller (Maurice) and Mary Ann Humbach (Greenholt); and his caregiver John. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
