He was predeceased by: his wife Judy A. Long (Arnold); his parents, Charles Joseph and Catherine Mary Long (Horwedel); his grandchildren, Brayden and Bryson; and his half-siblings, Richard Long, Jerome Long, Lewis Long and Charlene Orndorff.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Allyson Loss and Heath Meckley Jr.; his siblings, Ronald Long (Cynthia), Randy Long (Christine) and Joyce Tedder; and his half-sister Paulene Gasswint. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
