We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024, at the age of 86, James A. Forbes of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice Forbes (Topper); his parents, William H. Forbes, Sr. and Katie E. Forbes (Carver); and his grandson Shawn Grimes. He is survived by: his children, Michele Sharrah (Robert) and Douglas Forbes (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Justin Zigler, Nicholas Forbes and Olivia Forbes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory may be made to Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church, 26 N. Third St., McSherrystown, PA 17344.
