It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Hemler (McSherrystown, Pennsylvania), born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Gregory E. Nellie M. Lawrence (Clingan); her husband Joseph G. "Jerry" Hemler; and her sister Mary Bedford. She is survived by: her children, Mary H. O'Toole (Michael) of Waynesboro, Michael G. Hemler (Judy) of Seaford, VA and Lawrence J. Hemler (Cathy) of York, PA; her granddaughters, Sarah Hemler and Laura Hemler; and her siblings, Rita McMaster of Hanover, Paul Lawrence and John Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
