He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Arlington Shank and Mary May Shank (Bartles); his wife Rayetta Marie Leatherman Shank; and his siblings, Helen Virginia French, Ethel Irene Drury and George Clifford Shank.
He is survived by: his children, Diann Marie Yealy of McSherrytown, PA and Dean Earl Shank of Newport, NC; and his siblings, Mary Gertrude Gladhill of Clear Spring, MD, Anna Mae Harnish of Hagerstown, MD, Betty Jane Boyd of Cearfoss, MD and Charles Albert Shank of Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
