He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Joyce Witte (Rethmeyer); his children, Rich Witte, Jr. (Jodi) of Pittsburgh, Scott Witte (Melissa) of New Orleans and Chris Witte of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Anna, Rachel, Jack, David, Taylor, Olivia, Kyle and Megan Witte; his nieces and nephews, Susan Perney of St. Louis and Linda Varadachari of St. Louis; and his parents, Gus Witte and Ann Witte.
