He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Carroll and Rita Carroll (Langenmayr) of North Syracuse. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jo McGuire Carroll; his children, Heather Carroll Carrington of Cedar Rapids, Dr. Kathleen Carroll Castrodale (Alex) of Pittsburgh and Richard (Natalie) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Anelise Lila, Eamon Alexander Castrodale, Griffin Daniel and Victor Brian Carrington; and his siblings, John (Laura) of East Syracuse, Tom (Marianne) of Farmington and Sue Carroll Linhorst (Stan) of Manlius. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.
