He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund "Ed" Buczynski and Helen Buczynski (Rzaca); and his siblings, Marcia Tambellini and Mark Buczynski. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Tepe); his children, Brian (Julie Myers), Tom (Liz Mathieu) and Julia; and his sister Susan Jecko.
