He was predeceased by: his parent William Elliott; his daughter Teri Lynn; and his siblings, William Elliott, Rodney Elliott, Jean Carlson and Nancy Collie.

He is survived by: his spouse Jeri Vesely; his children, Rod Elliott (Carolyn) and Proud; his grandchildren, Clara, Sylvie, Alodie, Nathaniel Elliott and Cherished; and his parent Harriet Elliott.
