With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Zawacki (McMurray, Pennsylvania), born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Whitehall; her husband Robert Zawacki; her children, Michael Zawacki (Cassie) and Julie Weese (Cody); her siblings, Paul Bastyr (Peg), Anne Beisel (Bill), Mark Bastyr (Tina), Jane Ondik (Drew) and Dave Bastyr (Mary Jane); her sister-in-law Barbara Zawacki; and her granddaughter Bailey Weese.

The family requests those who attend the visitation and Mass please wear masks.

Julie and my late niece, Melissa, were great friends when they were young and Kathy found time to talk with me and reminisce, helping to keep Melissa's memory alive.
