He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Blumen and Mary Durish Blumen; his wife Marsha Hedtke; his children, Melissa Wilk (Thomas) of McMurray and John J. Blumen (Tabitha) of Washington; his grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Tyler Blumen, Thomas and Amanda Wilk; and his siblings, Carl Blumen and Mary Blumen.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick Church, 317 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
