He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eugene and Anne Thompson Meldrum; and his stepson Gary Kiger. He is survived by: his wife Edna E. Kiger Meldrum; his children, James M. Meldrum (Joan) and Jo Ann Kotwica (Eddie); his grandchildren, Matthew Meldrum, Julie Friese (Eric), David Meldrum and Ryan Smutney (Lesley); his great grandchild Cameron Smith; his grandchild Leslie Wagstaff (Kris); his great grandchildren, Piper and Sage Friese; his stepson Ronald Kiger (Leslie); and his stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Kiger.
